The Most Important Public Holiday During the War

The Defender’s Day is the most important public holiday during a full-scale war.

It is celebrated simultaneously with the church holiday of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God.

On the Defender’s Day of Ukraine, students and teachers of Brianka Professional College held an hour of courage “Pride of Ukraine”, which included an online meeting with veterans of the “Ternopil” battalion. The Director Mykhailo Sapizhak told the story of cooperation with servicemen from the battalion for 8 years, warm memories flooded back to the years when the soldiers served in the city of Lysychansk. Currently, fighters are serving on the front line of the Donetsk region.

A minute of silence was observed to honor the fallen defenders of Ukraine.

The commander of the “Ternopil” battalion warmly congratulated the students and teachers of the College, and assured that the defenders will do everything possible for the victory of Ukraine in this war.
