Defender’s Day of Ukraine is a Day of Courage and Indomitability!

The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is celebrated annually on October 1, which is dedicated to all those who defend our country, stand guard over its independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty.

This day symbolizes the courage, heroism and dedication of military and civilian personnel, who contribute to the strengthening of the state with their work. And this is especially relevant in modern conditions, when Ukraine continues to fight for its freedom.

An important element of this day is the education of the young generation in the spirit of patriotism and respect for the defenders of the Motherland. This creates an awareness of the importance of the country’s defense and respect for heroes who provide peace and security to the state.

On the occasion of the Defender’s Day of Ukraine, students of the Vocational College actively participated in the patriotic event “Thanks to you – palms to hearts”. This event was aimed at providing spiritual support to military personnel who are in the combat zone, as well as at fostering a sense of patriotism among young people. As part of the initiative, students organized a patriotic workshop where they created thematic drawings, products and greeting cards for the military.

During pedagogical practice, students actively worked with children, conducting educational activities and involving them in the creative process. Children’s works, made with love and care, were addressed to our defenders in order to raise their morale and show support from the country’s youngest citizens.

In addition to creative activities, students organized educational conversations with children, talking about the importance of protecting the native land, honoring national traditions and heroes who stand guard for peace today. Thanks to such measures, young people are more aware of the importance of protecting their country and the importance of the unity of the people in the face of the challenges facing Ukraine.

The Defender’s Day of Ukraine becomes not just a day of military honor and glory, but a national day of unity, when every Ukrainian can contribute to the support of those who stand in defense of our freedom and independence.
