Advanced Training at the Institute of Agroecology and Nature Management

The teachers of the Institute of National Academy of Sciences have mastered the advanced training program at the Institute of Agroecology and Nature Management.

From September 23 to 27, the Institute of Agroecology and Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences held advanced training courses for scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers in agrarian and environmental fields.

The subjects of the study included issues on the ecology of the agro- and biosphere, environmental safety of the agrosphere, economics of nature use, environmental management and marketing, agrocosms, etc. The Department of Biology and Agronomy and the Department of Landscape Gardening and Ecology took part in advanced qualifications. The group of teachers-interns was headed by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Agriculture Yurii MAKHORTOV.

A new training format was chosen for the organization of courses this year, which combined the study of theoretical materials with leading scientists of the institute and the format of individual work of interns with leading scientists of the institute. This provided an opportunity to discuss specific issues at the request of participants of advanced training and to identify new ways of cooperation already during the internship.

During the training courses, the director of the Institute of Agroecology and Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician Oksana DREBOT addressed the participants with a welcome speech. Classes were conducted by heads of departments and leading scientists of the institute, and each report ended with a lively discussion. After the completion of the courses, the results of joint work were summarized. 

The training participants expressed their sincere gratitude for the annual meaningful courses and noted the effectiveness of the new course format.
