Online Meeting with a Production Worker

An online meeting with a production worker was held at the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences.
On September 19, 2024, an online meeting was held with Hryhorii Bohdanovych Moroz, a production worker, candidate of geographical sciences, associate professor, doctoral student of the Institute of Climate-Oriented Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, head of the agrochemical laboratory “Balkany Lab”.
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences together with students majoring in 103 “Earth Sciences” joined the open online lecture of the head of the agrochemical laboratory “Balkany Lab”.
Hryhorii Moroz introduced the audience to the topic: “Modern agrochemical service in agricultural production: from traditional to precise (precision) farming.”
During the event, students, teachers and invited guests had the opportunity to learn about the resources and technical equipment of the laboratory in detail. They got acquainted with the modern methods of conducting agrochemical analyses, in particular the use of the latest technologies for precise measurements and soil monitoring, and also discussed how research results can be effectively integrated into the production processes of agricultural enterprises.
In addition, the issues of introducing innovations in agriculture and increasing the efficiency of agricultural enterprises thanks to scientific approaches were considered.
At the end of the lecture, all those present had the opportunity to join the discussion, which concerned the methodological aspects of agrochemical research and the readiness of agricultural producers to implement modern approaches to precision agriculture. The participants exchanged opinions on current challenges and prospects for the implementation of innovative technologies, and also discussed ways to increase the efficiency of resource use and ensure the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
