Academic Council Meeting

On September 18, 2024, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

The agenda included the issue concerning the awarding the honorary title of “Honorary Doctor of Sciences of LTSNU” to the head of the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Dr hab., Professor Agnieszka CYBAL-MICHALSKA.

The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Academic Council, Academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Vitalii KURYLO, after which the Chairman of the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Professor Agnieszka CYBAL-MICHALSKA made a report “Theoretical provisions of pedagogy as a manifestation of participation and inclusion in the transformation of social reality”. 

During the meeting of the Academic Council, the following spoke:

• Vasyl KREMEN – President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor;
• Svitlana SISOIEVA – Academician-Secretary of the Department of Philosophy of Education, General and Preschool Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Olena KARAMAN – Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor.

According to the unanimous decision of the Academic Council, it was decided to award the chairman of the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Dr hab., Professor Agnieszka CYBAL-MICHALSKA with the honorary title “Honorary Doctor of Sciences of LTSNU” for outstanding achievements in the field of education and pedagogical science, a significant contribution to strengthening international relations between the university and foreign scientific institutions and institutions of higher education, popularization of the university in the educational and scientific space of the Republic of Poland.
