Open Lecture in the ER IPP

An open lecture was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

On September 17, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., an offline and online open lecture on the topic “National-patriotic education as a component of the educational process” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology for students, which is planned during the study of the educational component “Methodology of National Education”.

The main goal of the lecture: to form among students an understanding of the importance of national-patriotic education as an integral component of the modern educational process. The listeners were introduced to the key aspects of patriotic education, considering it as an important pedagogical category, and also analyzed the legislative framework of Ukraine, which regulates the issue of national-patriotic education. During the lecture, the students watched the video “I love Ukraine” with the participation of Ukrainian theater and film actor Bohdan Stupka.

The lecturer emphasized the main tasks of national-patriotic education as a component of the educational process: formation of a sense of patriotism, love for one’s people, their history, cultural and historical values; education of civic feelings and consciousness, respect for the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, social activity and responsibility for assigned state and public affairs, etc.

The content and presentation of the lecture stimulated students to think critically and creatively, express their own position, views, and search independently.
