A meeting of master’s students majoring in Geography with the curator and guarantor of the EPP took place at the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences.
On September 7, 2024, the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences hosted an online meeting. It was held with Associate Professor Iryna Melnyk (curator of the group of master’s students and guarantor of the educational and professional program “Geography”) and Associate Professor Hanna Havriushenko (a leading scientific and pedagogical worker and a member of the project group of the educational and professional program “Geography”) with students of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty 014.07 Secondary education (Geography).
During the event, master’s students learned about the curriculum for the 3rd semester and actual changes in the organization of the educational process, in particular, the updated scale of evaluation of learning results, deadlines for scientific and pedagogical industrial practice, deadlines for the pre-defense of graduation qualification papers and the schedule of consultations.
The master’s students also received information about the work plan of the scientific group “Innovative technologies for teaching geography”, which operates at the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences, and were invited to join its work.
Online meetings are a great platform for instant feedback as well as discussion of relevant training-related issues. The participants can share ideas, make suggestions, and communicate.
