An open lecture was held on the topic: “Fundamentals of Academic Integrity in the Modern Educational Environment”

On September 17, at 9:30 a.m., a lecture was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Arts on the topic: “Fundamentals of academic integrity in the modern educational environment” with the aim of informing the participants of the educational process about the observance of high professional standards in the educational and scientific spheres of the university, supporting ethical norms of communication of scientific and pedagogical workers and students, and prevention of violations of academic integrity.

The lecture was held with the support and participation of all levels of the internal education quality assurance system of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Lecture participants could join remotely.

The questions that were in the lecture related to: the current regulatory and legal framework regarding the definition of the concept of “academic integrity”, the principles and values ​​of AD, the composition of the commission of the Institute of Arts on Ethics and Academic Integrity, responsibility for violating the principles of AD, issues of checking the students’ qualification papers.

It should be noted that the lecture was attended by scientific and pedagogical workers, university administration, bachelor’s and master’s students.
