Luhansk City Day

The second Saturday of September is Luhansk City Day.

Until 2014, Luhansk was the center of Ukrainian industry and science in the east of our country. Due to the Russian invasion, now it is a gray area, a city that has been under occupation for over 10 years. The history of Luhansk is a story of ups and downs, hopes and disappointments, the struggle for freedom and independence.

The fate of Luhansk is a lesson of how easily peace and stability can be lost if destructive forces are not countered in time. At the same time, the resilience and courage of the people of Luhansk, who are fighting for the freedom of their land, inspires hope that the city will be able to overcome the current challenges and return to a peaceful life.

The belief that our native city will finally be liberated never leaves us.

We congratulate all residents of Luhansk on City Day!

And we remember that Luhansk is Ukraine!!!
