Knowledge Day – 2024 in the City of Myrhorod

On September 2, celebrations dedicated to the Knowledge Day was held at the structural subdivisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University located in the city of Myrhorod.

Knowledge Day is a special holiday that symbolizes the beginning of a new academic year and the first bell for pupils and first-year students across the country. This day is full of new hopes, dreams, and thirst for new knowledge.

Today, the doors of the Myrhorod City Cultural Center opened for freshmen, high school students and teaching staff of universities and colleges. Despite the war, all the difficulties and trials, applicants became freshmen. The celebrations began with a moment of silence. Our hearts are filled with sadness and sorrow for those who gave their lives for the independence of our country. We will always remember their courage and self-sacrifice for peace and freedom. The participants of the event expressed their great gratitude to our Defenders. The first-year students were warmly congratulated by the directors of the structural subdivisions of the location. It was in their honor that the University Anthem sounded.
