Celebrations on the Occasion of the New Academic Year

On September 2, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted celebrations on the occasion of the new 2024-2025 academic year and the initiation of freshmen into students.
The event was attended by: the senior leadership of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, honored guests, leaders of the Lubny community and district, students, university employees, first-year students, and parents.
The meeting began with a welcoming speech to the guests and students by the head of the Academic Council of the university Vitalii KURYLO, who wished the entrants success in their studies, discoveries, and new achievements.
The Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Olena KARAMAN, addressed the students and everyone present with best wishes, congratulating the youth on entering one of the most glorious higher education institutions in Ukraine with a 103-year history and wishing them personal and professional growth in it.
The head of the Lubny City Council Oleksandr HRYTSAIENKO, the head of the Lubny District Council Tetiana KACHANENKO, the head of the Lubny District Military Administration Serhii SIRIACHENKO also expressed their most sincere congratulations and best wishes to the entrants on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, wishing success in student life and victorious peace in our country!
On this day, first-year students who became students of a powerful, progressive and innovative University visited Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University for the first time, and at a solemn event they received a dedication and a symbolic student card from the head of the student self-government.
The beginning of the new academic year is always a special and exciting day, which was richly spent in an emotionally positive atmosphere. The unexplored path to new knowledge, acquaintances and opportunities will begin on this day. The start of training is a symbol of the fact that Ukraine will win!
