Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a modern, innovative institution of higher education, which has been a benchmark for the quality of Ukrainian education for 103 years.

The university was twice affected by Russian aggression (2014, 2022), and, having gone through strategies of survival, recovery and stabilization, once again embarked on the path of sustainable and innovative development, taking a leadership position in the educational and scientific space of Ukraine.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a powerful educational and scientific complex, which includes 10 educational and research institutes, 6 professional colleges, and a regional center for professional education. The University trains specialists at all educational levels and scientific degrees that exist in Ukraine: skilled worker, professional junior bachelor, bachelor, master, doctor of philosophy, and doctor of science. Advanced training courses are available.

The educational offer of the university includes more than 300 specialties, educational programs, and professions.

The Institute of International Education operates at the university, the work of which is aimed at developing the process of internationalization in a combination of different directions.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University over the long years of development and formation has trained and graduated more than one generation of specialists in various specialties who made a significant contribution to the development of education, science and our indomitable state.
