Lecturers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology joined the webinar of Andriy Popov, partner and CEO of Kreston Ukraine “What Personal Competencies Does a Modern Novice Specialist Need First of All.”

During the event, the main differences between hard and soft skills of a professional in various fields of knowledge were discussed, the experience of developing methodical materials for the formation of these skills among students of higher education institutions was shared. Mr. Andrii focused his attention on the formation of future professionals in particular communication skills, self-presentation skills, ability to work in a team, critical thinking, flexibility and adaptability, emotional intelligence skills. He shared his experience of developing these skills at Kreston Ukraine company.

The teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology will apply the acquired knowledge when updating the syllabuses of the educational programs of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education “Sociology” and “Sociology of Borderlands and National Security”, respectively.
