International Conference in Warsaw

An International Conference was held in Warsaw. 

From July 12 to 15, 2024, representatives of the university Olha KORINSKA, teacher of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, head of the Council of Young Scientists and Students and Kateryna BILOBROVSKA, teacher of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology, took part in the International Conference “Challenges of the Modern Economy – Research of Young Scientists”, organized by SGH, Warsaw School of Economics.

During three days, our young scientists will actively work within the framework of the conference. The conference program includes several sessions, including: interactive and/or competitive presentation of works, poster sessions and workshops.

The work of the conference began with a plenary session, at which PhD, representative of the University of Gothenburg, John MAGNUSSON, spoke with the topic of the report “Digital Transformation of Nations: The Role of Influential Pragmatic Research in Sweden”.

The first day was also marked by the speech of our young scientist, postgraduate student and teacher Olha KORINSKA, who is fruitfully and actively working on her dissertation research on the topic “Formation of Information Culture of Future Translators in the Process of Professional Training at Universities”.

In her report “Impact of Digital Transformation on Future Translators” at the conference, she identified the impact of digital transformation on translators as future professionals who have to work in society during university studies. She described the essence of digital transformation and digital education in the modern conditions of the development of information and communication technologies.

Olha KORINSKA determined the role of digital transformation and the possibility of using artificial intelligence, clouds, internet portals in the educational process in the context of the concept of “information culture”, that is, taking into account the norms of working with information. She revealed to everyone present the importance of information culture as a component of information technology support for professional and pedagogical training of future translators, which involves the use of both traditional and innovative forms, methods, tools and technologies.

Since scientific activity is the most important aspect for the successful activity of postgraduate students, students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University regularly participate in conferences of both the all-Ukrainian and international level. In addition, they are constantly engaged in writing theses, scientific articles and giving presentations to a wide audience of leading specialists and young scientists who can provide them with the necessary comments, advice and tips.

We sincerely thank the organizers of the international conference for inviting our representatives to participate in the work of the conference and exchange invaluable experience.
