Summer School. Day 4

The fourth day of the SGH Summer School on contemporary challenges in politics, business and economy was held in Warsaw on July 11.
It took place in an atmosphere of interaction of all participants on the basis of mutual respect and openness, which contributed to the development and expansion of their knowledge.
The Professor Elias Tsakas continued the workshop he started on the third day at the SGH Summer School on Methods: Measuring Expectations in Social Science Research and How to Measure Them.
After the communicative seminar of Professor Elias Tsakas, the participants got to know Professor Marek Nachyk, who held educational lectures on the topics: “Comparative Political Economy: From Varieties of Capitalism to Growth Models” and “Comparative Political Economy: Diversity of Theoretical Approaches”.
Professor Marek Nachyk, Associate Professor of the Department of Comparative Social Policy and an official employee of Kellogg College, Oxford University. In 2023-24, he was a visiting scholar at the Mind de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University. His research focuses on the influence of interest groups and state actors on social and industrial policy in OECD countries, including post-communist countries.
Representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, namely: Olha Korinska, Kateryna Bilobrovska and Viktoria Medvedska, noted the high professional level and relevance of the event, emotional comfortable atmosphere, active communication, successful combination of theoretical and practical training, and sincere interest in productive cooperation.
We are convinced that holding such discussions at the SGH Summer School will allow all participants to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the future and increase their scientific competence.
