Gold of the Championship of Ukraine in Weightlifting!

Congratulations to our students – champions of Ukraine Sofia Naumova, Hanna Kalashnyk and Tetiana Budnikova.

From July 1st to July 7th, the championship of Ukraine in weightlifting among juniors under 20 years old and youth under 23 years old will be held in Lutsk.

The national team of the Luhansk region also included female students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. They are the second-year bachelor’s students majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports” Sofia NAUMOVA and Hanna KALASHNYK, and the second-year master’s student of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU, specialty “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” Tetiana BUDNIKOVA.

Competition results:

Sofia NAUMOVA in the weight category up to 45 kg took 1st place in the jerk (59 kg), 1st place in the push (70 kg) and 1st place in the all-around (129 kg).

Hanna KALASHNYK in the weight category +87 kg, winning 3 gold medals with a result of 96 kg – jerk, 129 kg – push, 225 kg – sum of dueling, became the winner of the championship of Ukraine in weightlifting among juniors under 20 years of age!

Tetiana BUDNIKOVA in the weight category up to 45 kg became the champion among juniors under the age of 23, took 1st place in the jerk (62 kg), 1st place in the push (81 kg) and 1st place in the all-around (143 kg).

The coaches of the athletes are Andrii Ivzhenko, Kostiantyn Selivanov, and Maria Selivanova.
