Participation in the Round Table

The lecturers of the Department of Political Science and International Relations took part in the work of the round table “Peace Summit in Switzerland as a Test for Peace or the Third World War!

From July 3, 2024, Svitlana Oleksandrivna Vovk, head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Professor, and Olena Mezhenska, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Scientific and Research Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of LTSNU took part in the work of the Round Table “Peace Summit in Switzerland as a Test for Peace or the Third World War!

During the work of the round table, an expert professional assessment of the results of the World Summit I, which took place in Switzerland on June 15-16, 2024, was provided, visions for the future regarding the development of Ukraine’s efforts, and not only Ukraine’s efforts to establish global security, which was violated by the third world Russian – Ukrainian war, and the global confrontation for the revision of the existing world order.

The following issues were discussed: Peace Summit: victory or defeat of Ukrainian diplomacy? Is it possible to achieve a comprehensive just peace in the conditions of global confrontation? The peace summit divided supporters and opponents of the future totalitarian world order and completed the formation of two mega blocs of the Third World War and others.

The event was interesting and informative. We thank the organizers of the round table and the speakers.
