The June Meeting of the Scientific Council of the ER INAS

On June 21, 2024, the next and last meeting of the Academic Council of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences was held in this academic year.

During the meeting, personnel issues, the issue of the results of the certification of graduates were considered, and the work of the Academic Council of the institute for the academic year was summed up.

The following issues were put on the agenda:

• 1. About consideration of competitive cases for filling vacant positions in the 
• 2. About the results of the final certification of bachelor’s degree holders at the institute.
• 3. About the implementation of the decisions of the academic council of the faculty in 2023-2024.

When considering the first issue, 12 candidates for filling vacant positions of scientific and pedagogical staff of the institute’s departments were considered, who were allowed to participate in the competition by order of the rector. All candidates were elected to vacant positions by secret ballot. We sincerely congratulate our colleagues and wish them professional inspiration!

The second issue was the results of the certification of bachelor’s students according to the educational programs of the institute’s specialties. Olha HUBSKA, deputy director for educational work, made a thorough analysis of the work carried out on preparation and certification. During the discussion, the heads of the departments expressed their comments and suggestions regarding the optimization of this process taking into account the current conditions. The reports of the certification heads and their suggestions and comments were analyzed in detail. Olha HUBSKKA also emphasized the importance of effective work during the 2024 admissions campaign with bachelor’s graduates. Consideration of the third item on the agenda, on the implementation of the decisions of the Academic Council of the faculty in 2023-2024, summed up the results of the work of the Academic Council, it was determined that the decisions were fully implemented, which positively affects the development of the institute.

At the end of the meeting, the director of the Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, Nataliia Matsai, expressed her gratitude to the members of the Academic Council, the directorate, the heads of departments and the scientific and pedagogical staff of the departments for their contribution to the effective functioning of the institute, emphasized the importance of joint work and wished for inspiration for the further development of the institute in accordance with the goals set by the rectorate of the University.
