Scientific and Research Activity at Brianka Professional College

The scientific and research activity is an integral part of the educational process at Brianka Professional College.

Every year, students and teachers of the Professional College participate in scientific and practical conferences and competitions of creative works both on the basis of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and other institutions of higher and professional pre-higher education. Therefore, during the last period of the 2023/2024 academic year, the participants of the educational process of the College reported on such activities.

The Director of the College Mykhailo Stepanovych Sapizhak interested the participants with his speech at the II International Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference “Integration of Science and Practice: Management in the Conditions of Socio-Cultural Transformations”, which was held by the Educational and Research Institute of Management of LTSNU. He shared the latest and classic forms of work from the experience of a vocational college in the difficult conditions of today in his report “National-patriotic education in the conditions of external and internal challenges”. 

Graduates of vocational pre-university education – Ihor Hyrych (specialty “Accounting and Taxation”) and Yuliia Koreniak (specialty “Design”) – took part in the work of the II International Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Issues, Problems and Prospects for the Development of Science and Education” (the organizer is Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University). They prepared reports on topical topics: “Ukraine in Conditions of Independence: Problems and Prospects” and “Artificial Intelligence in Education and Science: For or Against?”.

As a result of the work of the above-mentioned scientific and practical conferences, collections of theses of reports were published.

For the effective integration of educational and research activities, students and teachers of the Сollege also take an active part in various professional competitions and exhibitions. Thus, during March-May 2024, students of Brianka Professional College took part in a photo competition of author’s photos among students of higher and professional pre-higher education institutions of Ukraine: “Family, lineage, what holy words, everyone needs them in life.”

The winner of the 1st round of the competition was the 2nd-year student majoring in “Design”, Andrii Liubov (the work “Mom, Dad, and I”), who was evaluated by the college jury with the highest number of points and sent to participate in the All-Ukrainian tour of the competition.

According to the results of the second All-Ukrainian tour of this photo contest-exhibition of author’s photos, in which evaluation was conducted by online voting, Andrii Liubov received a diploma.
