Forum of Educational Leaders “EdLeaders-2024”

On June 19, Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region, hosted one of the most important educational events of the Dolyna region – the EdLeaders-2024 Forum of Educational Leaders.

From Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, the forum was attended by:

• Olena KARAMAN – Rector of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Yaroslava Yurkiv – Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Nataliia MATSAI – Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences of LTSNU, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor;
• Vira PUSHKO – Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of LTSNU, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor.

Among the speakers of the Forum were the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, the director of the Ukrainian Center for Evaluation of the Education Quality, heads of education departments, rectors of universities, entrepreneurs, and volunteers.

The purpose of the Forum is to promote the development of educational leadership, rethink the role of leaders and create a new leadership model, establish cooperation between educational institutions, optimize the professional self-determination of students, spread innovative approaches to the development of educational management and improve the quality of education in Ukraine.

After the opening of the Forum, the discussion platform “Leadership in Conditions of War: Challenges and Opportunities of Nowadays” began. In addition, speeches were heard on important topics: “Educational Losses: How to Distinguish, Measure and Overcome” and “Transformation of Education – Management Decisions”.

This unique event brought together leading leaders and specialists in the field of education to share experiences and discuss current issues, proposals and trends in modern education. Their professional experience and knowledge became a valuable contribution to the program of the event. This event also greatly contributed to the improvement of knowledge and competences regarding administration in the field of education on the basis of leadership, establishment of cooperation between educational institutions and optimization of professional self-determination of students.
