Final Certification at the Journalism Department

During June 6-12, the Journalism Department of the ER IPJ conducted the final certification bachelor’s and master’s students majoring in 061 “Journalism”. 

Certification took place in the form of testing and defense of qualification papers.
Bachelor’s students developed their own projects and offered ideas for their promotion. Master’s students demonstrated deep professional knowledge of the disciplines during the entire period of study. A lively discussion took place, pleasant excitement filled all the participants of the event. The examination committee highly appreciated the creative and qualifying works of the students and was impressed by the professionalism of the students.

The highlight of this year’s final certification was the brilliant defense of master’s students from the People’s Republic of China, Yang Minxue and Wang Kun. This is the first defense of foreign students in the entire history of the Journalism Department.
All students proved themselves as persistent, responsible future specialists and answered the questions clearly. The level of competencies, knowledge and skills of graduates meet the requirements of the educational program.

After the discussion of the defended papers, the students were informed of the grades. The members of the commission expressed their sincere wishes to the graduates, and the bachelor’s and master’s students thanked the teachers.

Congratulations to the graduates who successfully defended their bachelor’s and master’s theses! We wish them good health, creative efforts in information activities, professional achievements in the name of peace and freedom of Ukraine!
