Defense of Qualification Works at the ER IBM

From June 10 to 13, defenses of qualification papers and final exams for bachelor’s students and master’s students were held at the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management. 

The Director of the Institute, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Honorary Professor of the University, Valerii Khmel, addressed the students and members of the examination commissions with a congratulatory speech and wished the future graduates fruitful work and success.

State exams were taken by students majoring in 051 “Economics” and 075 “Marketing”. The work of the examination commission was headed by Serhii Borisovych Tverdokhlib, deputy general director for reforming Agroton JSC. During the answers to the exam questions, the bachelors offered a lot of interesting solutions and revealed a number of important issues of today.

Defenses of bachelor’s and master’s theses in specialty 073 “Management” were successfully held. The head of the commission, Olha Yuriivna Chorna, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of the Department of Public Administration, Management and Marketing of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University noted a sufficiently high level of students’ knowledge. 

The defense of theses by bachelor’s students majoring in 029 “Information, Library and Archival Affairs” took place. The commission was headed by Iryna Silyutina, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Cultural Studies and Information Activities of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University.

Students majoring in 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance” showed good qualification training and acquired professional competences. The chairman of the certification commission was Dmytro Semenovych Maruzhenko, candidate of economic sciences, deputy general director of the representative office of “Willis Towers Watson Insurance Broking”. The head of the commission and members of the examination commission noted the high level of theoretical and practical training of the graduates.

We would like to thank the head of the International Relations Department, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Iryna Viktorivna Myhovych, who helped the members of the attestation commission in the defense of master’s theses by foreigners.

After successfully passing exams and defending bachelor’s and master’s theses, each graduate of our institute will soon receive a diploma that will give them the opportunity to be employed in positions in the specialties that our state so needs!
