Sustainability Training for Students of LTSNU

The Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation conducted socio-psychological training on building resilience with college students of LTSNU.

Personal resilience is the ability to effectively exist in the face of life’s obstacles and difficulties. This is a person’s ability to maintain a balance between adaptation to new requirements and the desire to live harmoniously and fully.

The motivational training for students was conducted specifically for the formation of practical skills of resilience, determining the characteristics of a resilient personality, analyzing the model of resilience and determining their own values based on the performance of practical tasks, sharing their own “recipes” for endurance, etc. After all, every person should be concerned about himself and his safety, be able to apply primarily preventive measures and know the principles of psychological first aid in any crisis situation.

Since vitality is a hypothetical construct, its direct psychological influence is impossible.

Training to increase vitality for young people is aimed precisely at the formation and development of psychological qualities of the individual, which provide them with:

  • psychological stability and personal maturity;
  • formation of a valuable and meaningful attitude to activities, one’s own life;
  • increasing awareness of life goals;
  • promotion of successful mastering of activities, actualization of personal development resources in the process of active interaction with the social environment.

During the training, students discussed topical issues of sustainability in modern living conditions. In general, all those present were satisfied, everyone’s mood rose and no one regretted that they spent their time in a relevant and useful way.

The training took place in a positive atmosphere of trust and activity. Professional communication gave the participants internal resources and the desire to live and create in a free and peaceful Ukraine.
