Material and Technical Assistance from the British Partner University

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University for the second time in the last two years received material and technical assistance from the University of Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom.
State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” for the second year in a row is a member of a large-scale international project “Twinning” with the assistance of Cormack Consultancy Group in partnership with the Association of UK Universities, which aims to support Ukrainian higher education institutions during and after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by establishing long-term strong partnerships with higher education institutions in the UK and other countries (coordinator – Iryna V. MYHOVYCH).
Within the framework of the project LTSNU launched a strategic cooperation with the University of Bath, Somerset, UK, the directions of which are outlined in the signed in 2022 framework agreement on institutional cooperation (https://luguniv.edu.ua/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/mizch_diial_2022_11_UoB-LTSNU_Twinning_MoU_signed_fr.pdf). A separate area of the agreement provides for the provision of material and technical (humanitarian) assistance by a foreign partner university, which on June 10, 2024 – for the second time in the last two years – arrived in Lubny, Poltava region.
The joint efforts of the international and administrative offices of the two universities found their practical embodiment in unloading more than 100 cargo items with a total weight of 1223 kg (15 cargo pallets), represented by equipment that is used for practical research and experimental work in the areas of chemical-physical, biological, mathematical sciences (digital multimeters, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, pulse generators, Farnell square oscillators, rotary evaporators, viscometers, etc.). Five pallets contained furniture for classrooms. A separate pallet was the h/p/cosmos – locomotor therapy system used for rehabilitation and recovery therapy with a device for dynamic weight relief based on a medical treadmill (manufacturing country Germany).
