Defense of Final Qualification Papers of Bachelor’s Students

The defense of bachelor’s final qualification papers took place at the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business.
On June 1 and 3, 2024, the defense of the qualification papers of the first (bachelor) higher education of full-time and part-time forms of education took place:
- under the educational program “Hotel and Restaurant Business”, specialty 241 “Hotel and Restaurant Business”
- under the “Tourism” educational program, specialty 242 “Tourism”
The qualification papers of bachelors were devoted to topical issues and practical problems, as well as solving complex specialized problems in the field of hotel, restaurant and tourism business.
Students presented the results of scientific research on the state and prospects for the development of ecological, gastronomic and wine tourism in the world, Ukraine and the regions of the country. The results of scientific research were presented on such topical problems as: the development of international tourism in Ukraine in modern conditions, the introduction of innovative technologies in the hotel and restaurant business, management of the organization of tourists’ leisure in accommodation facilities, the organization of guest service in tourist and sports hotels of Ukraine, improvement of hotel promotion methods services, the formation of national hotel chains, world experience and prospects for the development of inclusive and barrier-free tourism in Ukraine. In the conducted studies, the awardees focused on the development of the hotel and restaurant business, domestic and foreign tourism in the war and post-war period.
The commission positively evaluated the research by the bachelors of the “Hotel and Restaurant Business” and “Tourism” educational programs and noted the appropriate level of mastery of general scientific, special and professional skills in the application of various methods of substantiating scientific results of a theoretical and practical nature, possessing the relevant competencies necessary for analyzing the activities of sub tourist and hotel-restaurant business entities.
We wish our graduates of the first (bachelor) level successful career growth and achievement of their goals! We believe that the professional activity of bachelors in the performance of complex tasks and challenges faced by the hotel, restaurant and tourism business will contribute to the joint victory of Ukraine in the war and its post-war recovery!
According to the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business
