Participation in the Conference

Teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology took part in the conference.

The lecturers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology joined the discussion during the conference “Potential Classics: Suppressed, Forgotten and Found in the History of Ukrainian Sociology”.

The organizer of the conference is Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the Sociological Journal. During the event, there were reports about the Ukrainian scientific diaspora, which made a contribution to Ukrainian sociology, about the scientific works of Drahomanov, Shapoval, Hrushevsky, and others.

During the report on M. Hrushevskyi, a lively discussion broke out regarding his archives, which are accessible to modern scientists.

The teachers will apply the acquired knowledge in their courses on “History of Sociology”, “Modern Sociological Theories” and “Sociology of Domestic Sociology”.
