Completion of the Sports Season for Handball Players

That’s the end of the sports season for handball players.

Competitions during a large-scale war were held at a high level. Our boys, students and graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU, ended with good results.

This year, Marat Sahdieiev, a graduate of the master’s degree program of the ER IHCS, received the honorary title of Master of Sports of Ukraine in handball. By the way, in 2021, as part of the university team, Marat became a silver medalist at the Ukrainian Universiade.

Maksym Vakula, a 4th-year student of the ER IHCS, also received the title of Master of Sports in handball and became the top scorer of the Championship of Ukraine in beach handball among adults. These competitions were held in Cherkasy at the beginning of August 2023.

The champion of Ukraine in 2023-2024 was Maksym Radchenko, a 2nd-year student of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports. He received a gold medal and the honorary title of Master of Sports of Ukraine.

It should be noted that in the fall of 2023, students Dmytro Redkin (3rd year), Mykyta Lytvynenko (4th year) and Danylo Osadchii, who graduated from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in 2022, participated in the European Championship as part of the national team of Ukraine.

We are grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to participate in sports competitions.
