Congratulations on Sports Achievements

The staff of the Rubizhne Professional College of LTSNU congratulates its student, Bohdan Sviloguzov, a pupil of the Rubizhne Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 1, on his significant sports achievements.

On May 24, Bohdan was awarded 3 kyu (green belt) at the training and certification seminar, where the results of the aikido classes in the Luhansk Regional Aikido Federation were summed up. 

On May 26, Bohdan won one gold medal in the Tanto Randori category and three silver medals in the Tanto Taisabaki, Sinai and Tosyu Randori categories at the Donetsk Region Aikido Open Championship as part of the Luhansk Region team.

The competition took place in the city of Kyiv. Seven teams and more than 114 athletes from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv regions and the city of Kyiv took part in the competitions. In total, more than 180 matches were held, 103 of them in the nominations: “Sinai” – sword, “Sinai nitto ryu” – 2 swords, “Yari” – spear – competition with weapons, 47 in agility competitions – in the nominations “Haishittsu” and ” Ponitera”; 21 – in competitions against a person armed with a knife – in the nominations “Tanto Taisabaki” and “Tanto Randri” and 12 fights in free and exhibition performances at “Toshu randori” and “Nina dori”.
