The staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is deeply saddened by the death of Maksym Kovalchukovskyi, aerial scout, first-year student majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

After graduating from school, Maksym Kovalchukovskyi decided to devote himself to military affairs. After signing the contract, he defended Ukraine since 2017.

When Russia entered the full-scale phase of the war, the boy was abroad. However, without hesitation, he returned and again stood up for the defense of the country.

Together with their comrades, they carried out combat tasks in the most difficult areas… The liberation of Kharkiv region, the Kupyan and Lyman directions…

Maksym is forever 25 years old….

He left his parents, brother and sister.

We express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends. It is impossible to heal the pain and bitterness from the loss of a loved one with words. We grieve together with you… Strength and endurance to you in this difficult time!
