Scheduled Meeting of the May Academic Council

The May Academic Council meeting was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences.

The following issues were considered on the agenda:

• 1. About the state of preparation for the final certification according to the educational programs of the institute’s specialties.
• 2. About the results of internships in the educational programs of the institute’s specialties in the current academic year.
• 3. Miscellaneous.

The heads of the departments reported on the state of preparation for the final certification according to the educational programs of the specialties of the institute’s departments. Based on the results of Olha HUBSK’A’s report, the members of the Academic Council found the preparation for the final certification at the institute to be satisfactory. Preparation of students for the final certification continues. Also, career orientation work among graduates of the institute regarding admission to the university at the second master’s level of higher education continues.

When considering the second item on the agenda, the state of preparation for conducting practices under the educational programs of specialties of the institute’s departments in the current academic semester was recognized as satisfactory. In order to increase the effectiveness of the training of students and their compliance with the modern requirements of employers, a decision was made to review and expand the list of practice bases for the specialties of the institute’s departments in the Poltava region.

When considering the “Miscellaneous” issue, the members of the Academic Council approved the results of advanced training: N.Yu. Matsai  – “Integrated Learning in Natural Sciences: International Experience of Using STEAM Technologies”, “Mental Health: Educational Issues”; I.S. Kravets – “Functions and Significance of Trace Elements in Plant Nutrition.”

We wish the members of the Academic Council of the Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences further fruitful work and the implementation of all plans!
