Guest Lecture

A guest lecture with involvement of alumni stakeholders took place. 

On May 30, 2024, the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions hosted a guest lecture for master’s students majoring in 281 “Public Management and Administration” with the involvement of stakeholders.

At the invitation of Olha SAIENKO, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions within the educational component “Strategic Management”, an online meeting was held with Yulia KHATSANOVSKA, acting head of the Financial Department of the Chmyrivka Village Council of the Starobilsk district of the Luhansk region.

The discussion was within the topic “Planning of Changes and Mechanisms of Their Implementation in Public Administration”. The main purpose of the meeting is to share experiences in overcoming the opposition of civil society in the development and implementation of the community development strategy.

Ms. Yulia spoke in detail about the strategy for the development of the Chmyrivka community, what communication with the public was like, and what measures were taken to establish communication with citizens.

Students took an active part in discussing the issue of decentralization of power and problems related to these processes, namely, regarding the sources of financial support for local budgets.
