Guest Lecture

A guest lecture was held at the Department of Public Management and Administration.

On May 27, 2024, teachers of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions, master’s students majoring in 073 “Management” and 281 “Public Management and Administration” had the opportunity to participate in supervision.

Supervision is an opportunity to: analyze complex work cases, identify problematic points in the work and get help in solving them; get support and reduce the level of stress, prevent burnout; improve one’s professional skills; strengthen morale, motivation and increase job satisfaction; to share experiences and common experiences with colleagues in a professional environment.

The supervisor of the event was Nadiia SAMARINA https://prohrbp.com/ – HR consultant, HRBP, coach, Master of Public Management and Administration, national trainer in the social sphere, former head of the Social Technology Department of the Luhansk Regional Center of Social Services, former – teacher of the Luhansk Regional Center for retraining and advanced training of employees of state authorities, local self-government bodies, state enterprises, institutions and organizations.

The organizer and moderator of the event was Nadiia VASYNOVA, Candidate of Ped. Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions.

Within the framework of the topic “Supervision: Professional Support”, the attendees got acquainted with socio-pedagogical supervision as an effective technology in personnel management, as well as with the rules for adapting various types of supervision to the practice of teamwork.

The supervisor highlighted the main issues for coaching sessions with employees in the development and implementation of an individual development plan, outlined certain techniques that a supervisor (coach, facilitator) can use in cases of individual and team supervision.

It was valuable that the participants of the event were able to receive practical recommendations on the use of certain techniques, forms of teamwork to build an individual development plan.

We thank Ms. Nadiia, because such events reflect the relevance and necessity of continuous professional development, helping to make the most of modern tools in the practical sphere.
