The Best Photo in Vyshyvanka According to Public Preferences

The jury of the competition for the best photo in vyshyvanka chose the winners based on public preferences.

We are Ukrainians, united in a big family thanks to love for our native land, song, and embroidery. Vyshyvanka (an embroidered Ukrainian shirt) is not just a piece of clothing, but it is a real talisman and a national shrine that awakens high patriotic feelings in the heart of every Ukrainian. It is designed to preserve ancient folk traditions of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered Ukrainian clothing. Wearing it, you feel elation, solemnity, and joy.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University has already held and published the results of the university-wide photo contest for the best photo in Vyshyvanka, which was held in three nominations: “My Family in Vyshyvanka”, “Connected by Fate Embroidered” and “I am a Ukrainian!”. Of course, it was too difficult to choose the best works, because there were a lot of creative works.

We sincerely congratulate our winners and wish them the fulfillment of all their plans, faith in a bright future, peace and an early victory.

Let’s not forget our roots. National memory is extremely important, and only you and we can preserve it and pass it on to posterity!
