Victory at the European Championship

A 3rd year student majoring in “Secondary Education (Physical Culture)” of the Professional College of LTSNU won a silver medal at the European Championship. 

On May 2-12, 2024, the XXIII European Armwrestling Championship and the XXVI European Para-Armwrestling Championship took place in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The master of sports of Ukraine in armwrestling Sofia Onoprienko, a 3rd-year student of the Professional College of LTSNU, took part in the European Championship.

Sofia won a silver medal for her left hand in the category of 50 kg under 18 years among girls.

Currently, preparations are underway for the next international competition – the World Armwrestling Championship, which will take place from August 15-25, 2024 in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

We congratulate Sofia on the victory; we are proud of her achievements and wish her victory at the World Championship!
