Meeting of the Scientific Group

The regular May meeting of the scientific group “Forestists and Gardeners of the Future” was held at the Department of Landscape Gardening and Ecology.

On May 16, the Department of Landscape Gardening and Ecology held the regular May meeting of the forestry and horticulture research group “Forestists and Gardeners of the Future”. The speaker was the assistant of the department O. I. Bordiugova with the topic “Using forest crops in the greening of populated areas.” The meeting was attended by students of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of education majoring in “Horticulture” and “Forestry”, as well as teachers of the department.

Students were interested in the proposed topic, which sparked an active discussion. The participants of the meeting highlighted important aspects of the use of forest crops in urban landscaping and drew attention to the need to preserve and develop green areas in cities using tree-shrub species. The students thanked for the opportunity to participate in such a positive and educational event.
