Defense of Term Papers at the Department of Romance & Germanic Philology

The defense of a term paper is the final stage of the course, during which students present the results of their research.
Fourth-year students of all specialties “Secondary Education. Language and Literature (English)”, “Secondary Education. Language and Literature (German, English)”, “Secondary Education. Language and Literature (French, English)” and “Secondary Education. Language and Literature (Spanish, English)” have recently defended their term papers on foreign languages and methods of teaching them at the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology (supervisors: Associate Professors N. F. Khairulina, O.Ye. Yunina, L.V. Shapovalova, Senior Lecturer O.H. Blednova). O.H. Blednova, lecturer. Ye.M. Kharkovskyi). The applicants demonstrated their academic achievements and practical skills in foreign language theory and teaching methods.
The applicants prepared presentations and reports presenting their research results, pedagogical approaches, and innovative teaching methods. The topics studied by the applicants covered various philological and methodological aspects of English, French, German, and Spanish.
Our students were fortunate to receive invaluable guidance, constructive feedback, and unwavering supervisor support throughout the rigorous research process. These supervisors, who played a pivotal role in advising students, formulating research questions, conducting literature reviews, developing methodology, and analyzing data, are the backbone of our students’ success.
