Science Days at the ER IHCS

Science Days were held at the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports.

On May 7, 2024, the 5th Regional Student Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Physical Culture and Sports: Modern Aspects and Trends” was held at the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU. 

Graduates of all levels of higher education were invited to participate in the conference.

The solemn opening of the conference and the plenary session took place online. 

Oleksandr DUBOVOI, Director of the Institute of Health Care and Sports, head of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports, Tetiana POLULIASCHENKO, and head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education, Olena OTRAVENKO, addressed those present with a welcoming speech.

The speaker of the plenary session was the secretary of the conference, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports Olena Shynkarova.

Thematic directions of the conference:

1. Improvement of the training process of young athletes and highly qualified athletes by sports.
2. Innovative approaches to improving the process of professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports.
3. Current aspects of Olympic, Paralympic and professional sports.
4. Medical-biological and psychological-pedagogical aspects of preserving human health.
5. Theoretical and methodological aspects of fitness and recreation.

According to the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of students’ theses.
