Two years ago, tragic news came to the Faculty of Natural Sciences – our graduate, one of the best students of whom we were justifiably proud, Artem Gurtovyi, died.
Artem not only studied well, but was also a bright personality, a real leader of the student body of the Faculty. He was always at the center of events in student life: he was the student dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, captain of the faculty team “Laughter League”, actively participated in sports competitions, was the best athlete, leader of volunteer work. No faculty and university events could do without him. And he chose a courageous profession – a border guard.
Artem was a real person, a real man, and he died, just as he lived, with dignity, defending Ukraine. He died for our future, the future of his little daughters, so that we could all live as free people in our independent, free Ukraine.
Today, May 10, 2024, is the second anniversary of his death. Artem will forever remain in our memories and in our hearts! Deepest condolences to the family and loved ones…
