Participation in the Fourth Online CERN Physics School for Teachers of Ukraine

Teachers and students of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics took part in the Fourth Online CERN School of Physics for Teachers of Ukraine – UATP2024online-1.
The event was held online from April 29 to May 3, 2024. The following joined the work of the school: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Yu. G. Kozub, Ph.D., Assoc. L.I. Bondarenko, Candidate of Technology Ph.D., Assoc. G. O. Kozub, master’s students majoring in Secondary Education (Physics and Astronomy) V. Mazur and D. Vlasovchuk, bachelor’s students majoring in Secondary Education (Mathematics, Physics) O. Tetereshchenko and A. Zinchenko.
School participants had the opportunity to attend lectures, a master class on data analysis of one of the LHC experiments, and a virtual visit to the new Science Portal at CERN. All events covered current issues of nuclear physics (including particle physics and the standard model, particle detectors, experiments at the LHC – Large Hadron Collider, an excursion to the CERN Science Portal). Speakers were leading Ukrainian and foreign scientists who cooperate with CERN. The organizers of the School provide for the issuance of certificates to the participants who attended the classes and completed the control work.
