Master Class “Easter Egg – a Symbol of Life”

On May 2, 2024, a master class on egg painting for Easter “Easter Egg – a Symbol of Life” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

The presentation was presented by Liudmyla Varianytsia, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development, who told the history of the development of painting Easter eggs and its traditions. The event was attended by teachers and students of various university structural subdivisions. The guests learned about the symbolism of colors and types of Easter eggs.

During the master class, the participants painted eggs with colorful patterns, because this is an integral attribute of the Easter holidays. Liudmyla Oleksandrivna reminded everyone about the interesting techniques of coloring eggs. During the conversation with the students, the teacher emphasized that the Easter egg has a magical good power – it brings happiness, prosperity, and well-being.

So, the Easter egg is a symbol of life and continuation of the ancient Ukrainian tradition, the code of our nation. The people say: “As long as Easter eggs are written, by that time there will be peace and Ukraine.”
