Participation in Easter Events

The Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences participated in the events on the occasion of Easter.

Representatives of the student-teaching staff of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences joined the online presentation on the topic “Easter Colors of Ukraine”, which was conducted by teachers of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business.

Easter is one of the biggest and main holidays of the year for Ukrainians, which has a rich cultural heritage, traditions and customs, is the foundation of faith that has changed the development and life of mankind. Ukrainians celebrated it long before the establishment of Christianity in Kievan Rus, and it was called “Great Day”. The day of spring victory over winter, light over darkness, triumph of life over death. In particular, in Ukraine in ancient times, farmers believed that deceased relatives continued to live underground and could influence its fertility. Memorial rites in the spring were connected with these beliefs.

Today, the question of national traditions is more important than ever for restoration and preservation, with a special emphasis on the significance of this holiday in the conditions of war.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to learn more about the culture and customs of the Ukrainian people. We sincerely congratulate everyone on Easter and wish goodness, peace and harmony in every home.
