The purpose of organizing such an event is not only to preserve cultural traditions, but also to popularize them among a wider audience.

The event gathered about 70 participants, including university teachers and students. In the course of the report, the history of the celebration of Easter in Ukraine, from the times of Kyivan Rus to the present day, was considered, with a special emphasis on the significance of this holiday in the conditions of war. Those present were able to learn about the traditional preparation for the holiday, including Great Lent and Maundy Thursday, as well as about unique customs in different regions of Ukraine.

Special attention was paid to Easter attributes, such as Easter pie, Easter eggs, which have a deep symbolic meaning related to the ideas of rebirth, purification, and the victory of life over death. Lesser known traditions were also revealed.

An interesting point of the report was the study of the regional peculiarities of the Easter celebration, from the Western Ukrainian gaivoks to the Carpathian Easter bonfires. Participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the richness and beauty of Ukrainian culture, as well as the importance of unity and family values, which are especially relevant in times of trial for the country.
