“Foreign languages in the professional activities of students of education”

On April 25, the 1st scientific-practical conference “Foreign languages in the professional activities of students of education” was held at the Department of Foreign Languages for professional orientation.
Scientific and pedagogical workers and students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and Journalism presented their reports in the following areas:
- 1. Theoretical-methodical aspects of teaching foreign languages in a professional direction (supervisor Viktoriia Sergeeva);
- 2. Practical and methodological aspects of translation of professional vocabulary (supervisor Olha Kirichenko);
- 3. International communication in a globalized world (supervisor Oksana Husakova).
The conference began with greetings from Svitlana Shpetna, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, and Anastasia Petrushkova, Teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages, moderator of the conference. Thanks to the different formats of the conference, the participants had the opportunity to participate and present their research in a convenient format in Ukrainian, English, German and French. Based on the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials in electronic format.
