Science Days: “Philosophy” section

On April 24, the Department of Philosophy and Sociology held Science Days: the “Philosophy” section began under the title “Global Problems of Modernity and Prospects for the Development of Mankind.”
Educators demonstrated their interest in a wide range of topics, including the relationship between scientific and technical, social and spiritual progress in the modern era, the reality and prospects of a post-industrial society, as well as the role of philosophy in understanding the problems of modern civilization. Discussions about the role of science and technology in solving the urgent problems of modern civilization and consideration of scenarios for the future development of mankind attracted special attention.
Lively exchanges of thoughts and ideas created an atmosphere of creative search and intellectual growth, which emphasizes the importance of such scientific activities in shaping the image of the future and understanding key aspects of our society.
