Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences: Science Days – 2024

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences: Science Days – 2024” has started at the ER INAS. 

On April 24, LTSNU started the work of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences: Science Days – 2024”. This is a traditional conference that has been taking place for many decades at the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences (until 2024, it was the Faculty of Natural Sciences) of LTSNU.

This year, the conference brought together more than 130 scientists, educators and specialists from 5 countries of the world. The purpose of the conference was to discuss topical theoretical and practical issues in biological, natural, agricultural sciences and education.

The organizers of the conference are the ER INAS as one of the oldest educational structural subvisions of the university, which celebrated its 101st year in March this year, and the Luhansk branch of the NGO “All-Ukrainian Ecological League” – a public organization whose purpose is to improve the ecological situation in the state, to form a new environmental mentality.

Nataliia MATSAI, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences of LTSNU, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, head of the Luhansk regional organization of the NGO “All-Ukrainian Environmental League” introduced the participants to the scientific activities of the organizer of the conference. She also moderated the event.

In her speech, Ms. Nataliia spoke about the successful activities of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, identified the main scientific directions and invited the participants to expand cooperation. Today, the team of teachers consists of 50 scientific and pedagogical workers – academicians, doctors of science, professors, candidates of science and doctors of philosophy, associate professors, senior teachers and assistants, covering natural, agricultural and educational areas of research.
