Participation in the webinar “Guided Discovery: Navigating Grammar”

03.04.2024, Romance & Germanic Philology Department teachers participated in the Guided Discovery: Navigating Grammar webinar launched by the Polyglot Language Centre. 

The speaker, Liudmyla Kyzyma, introduced the participants to the methodology of using the latest approaches in learning English grammar. The webinar “Guided Discovery: Navigating Grammar” was dedicated to the methods of learning Grammar through active participation and open research. During the interactive session, the participants discussed strategies and approaches to teaching grammar aimed at creating situations where learners learn grammatical structures through their research, interaction, and practice. This approach contributes to a better understanding of grammatical rules and improves speaking skills.

The department’s teachers’ regular participation in such interactive webinars improves the use of various interactive exercises and tests to develop students’ grammatical competence, logical thinking, and creative qualities.
