The First All-Ukrainian Pedagogical Readings in Memory of Yevhen Khrykov

The First All-Ukrainian Pedagogical Reading in Memory of Ye. M. Hrykov “Contexts of Yevhen Mykolayovych Hrykov’s Work: Current Problems of Educational and Public Management” took place.

On April 3, 2024, The First All-Ukrainian Pedagogical Readings “CONTEXTS OF CREATIVITY OF YEVHEN MYKOLAIOVYCH HRYKOV: CURRENT PROBLEMS OF EDUCATIONAL AND PUBLIC MANAGEMENT” were held at the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Administration and Postgraduate Education of LTSNU with the support of the NGO “Association of Researchers of Management Problems” and Berdiansk State Pedagogical University. 

Scientists from different parts of Ukraine joined the event to honor the memory of the outstanding scientist, specialist in the field of management of educational institutions, pedagogic methodology, theory of education, talented teacher-mentor, public figure, and true patriot of Ukraine.

Vitalii Semenovych Kurylo, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Chairman of the Academic Council of LTSNU, academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, opened the reading.

Olena Leonidivna Karaman, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine; Volodymyr Valentynovych Zablotskyi, Doctor of Public Administration, Professor, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Administration and Postgraduate Education of LTSNU, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, made a congratulatory speech. 

Scientists and students raised important and modern problems of management of educational institutions of various types (school management, digitization of education, democratization of management of educational institutions, implementation of the third mission by universities, etc.), as well as public management and administration, in particular aspects such as implementation leading European experience in the system of public administration of Ukraine. This issue was one of the scientific interests of Yevhen Hrykov and was presented in his scientific works.

There were also many memories and warm words about the personality of Yevhen Hrykov, about his artistic creativity, management and leadership talents, innovative approaches and progressive views in science, as well as about a powerful scientific school, which was formed as a result of many years of fruitful work on the actual problems of managing educational institutions of various types. Students of Yevhen Mykolaiovych work in various higher education institutions of Ukraine and in their research continue the topics on which Yevhen Mykolaiovych Hrykov worked.

A collection of scientific articles will be published based on the materials of the First All-Ukrainian Pedagogical Readings, dedicated to the memory of Yevhen Mykolayovych Hrykov.
