Career orientation meetings are ongoing

Representatives of our higher education institution again went to career orientation meetings with pupils of 9-11 grades in the city of Lubny.
On March 2, representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University again went to career orientation meetings with pupils of 9-11 grades in the city of Lubny in order to facilitate the choice of an educational institution and future profession.
The problem of choosing a profession has always been relevant and remains so in modern conditions. Which profession to choose is one of the main tasks in the life of every person. Due to ignorance of the rules for choosing a profession, the situation on the labor market, lack of practical experience of professional activity, about 40% of young people choose a profession that does not correspond to their interests, inclinations and preferences.
During the communication, the pupils were provided with comprehensive information about the higher education institution, its subdivisions, specialties, admission conditions, forms and features of study, benefits, availability of budget places, etc.
The Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports, Volodymyr Dubovoi, emphasized the possibilities of revealing one’s abilities in scientific or public work, in sports or cultural and mass life and gave examples.
The pupils listened to the guests with interest, asked questions to which they received comprehensive answers, and also completed a questionnaire from LTSNU. Advertising and information booklets of all subdivisions of the glorious and prestigious University were distributed to everyone.
Representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University sincerely hope that their work will not be in vain and will help future applicants to make the right choice.
The career orientation meeting took place actively in a rich and positive format.
