A meeting of project groups of the EP “Landscape Gardening” and “Forestry”.
A meeting of project groups for the educational and professional programs “Landscape Gardening” of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s), as well as “Forestry” of the first (bachelor’s) levels of higher education was held at the Department of Landscape Gardening and Ecology of the ER INAS.
The guarantors of the educational programs, Iryna KRAVETS, Serhii SOKOLOV and Anatolii SHEVCHENKO, organized and held a meeting with members of the project groups, scientific and pedagogical workers of the support group and higher education students in order to conclude the discussion of educational program projects.
The participants of the project groups analyzed the proposals received as a result of public discussions, the results of surveys of students and graduates, as well as recommendations from employers. They also considered the results of training under the EP, the experience of similar programs in Ukraine and abroad, the balance and realism of the programs, the effectiveness of the distribution of credits between various components of the educational process, as well as compliance with the licensing conditions of teachers working under the EP. The guarantors noted the active work on project analysis of all teachers of the department, the directorate and stakeholders with whom the department cooperates.
During the meeting, comments and suggestions from students and graduates of educational programs were discussed. The event was held in the format of a constructive discussion. The project groups analyzed the proposals and comments, and the results of the discussion will be taken into account during further work and appropriate adjustments will be made to the projects of educational programs.
We express our gratitude to all interested parties, in particular employers, the academic community, students and graduates, for their participation in the discussion of educational program projects and fruitful cooperation. We hope that improved educational programs will provide better training for students studying in these programs.
