Cybersecurity Lecture

Students and Lecturers of the Oriental Philology and Translation Studies Department Attended Cybersecurity Lecture

In today’s digital world, where technologies penetrate all spheres of our lives, cybersecurity becomes exceptionally relevant. To understand the threats we may encounter in online environments and to safeguard our property and data, it is necessary to have relevant knowledge. Therefore, as part of the plan for social and humanitarian work, students and lecturers of the Oriental Philology and Translation Studies Department attended the lecture “Cyber Resilience: How to Protect Digital Assets in Business,” conducted by computer analyst Pavlo Hak. The lecture included an examination of general concepts such as protection against hacker attacks, network security, and data protection. Students had the opportunity to delve into the depths of various types of cyber threats, which helped them better understand the complexity of the problem and identify potential vulnerabilities. The lecture provided students with valuable knowledge, skills, and motivation for further study and activity in this important field for future translators. Such initiatives are an important element in shaping competent and responsible citizens capable of protecting themselves and their society in the digital age.
